I am in the prime of senility. (Benjamin Franklin) I meant "you", not "your".

Good idea to add an applique! Never thought of that!

I like your idea also, every quilt has a little something, and no one even notices.

As I was sewing the last seam..I noticed a flaw in the fabric. When I picked at it a little bit, sure enough... there is a pencil size eraser hole caused by the flaw. I could cry.

The fabric is a large floral, with a black background. I was thinking of bonding a small piece of black underneath it, and darning over the hole. Anyone had success doing this? Hopefully it won't show when it's quilted. *crossing fingers*

Or any other suggestions? I can't believe the problems I have had with this queen size quilt, and I was SO happy to be done with it. And now this :(

Thanks in advance

I had a fabric like that, except the flaws were thru the whole piece and I used it in some of the blocks. I just fused some Wonder Under behind the holes. I haven't layered and quilted that quilt yet. Since it wasn't for anybody it wasn't a big deal.
