I just had a wonderful experience at Carol Poole’s Airbnb room. She’s an art quilter who has had a quilt in the Houston show. I was in a quilting lull and staying with Carol got me excited about quilting again. She shared all her quilt books and showed me her studio and of course she has several quilts around the house. She took me to the wonderful local quilt shop. Best of all she worked with me on a quilt design I wasn’t happy with. Now I’m excited about picking that project up again and using her innovative solutions. I can’t guarantee she’ll do that with every quilter but she sure went out of her way for me.. I let her know I was a quilter before I arrived.

It was really great to share my love of quilting with a new friend! I was so glad we chose her when we needed a place to stay! If you ever happen to go to central FLA and need a place, check her place out. It’s very reasonable. Just wanted to share this great experience.
