My friend and I are looking for a quilt show to attend in the Fall. I couldn't find a listing on the internet when I searched. If you have a link or if you know of a show, or if your guild is sponsoring a show in the Fall, would you be so kind as to share the information?
Middle September to late October is the time frame we are interested in. Thanks! |
I'm going to a quilt show in Washington Twp on Sunday, I will see if they have any flyers for upcomming shows
|
Thanks - I really, really appreciate it!

My friend and I are going to one in Brighton on Aug. 13. It is sponsered by Casual Quilters of Brighton. It is called "A Garden of Quilts". I went a couple of years ago and it was very nice. Lots of quilts made by experts and many vendors. It's at St. Patrick's Church.

Isn't the sewing expo in Novi the last weekend of September? let me look.
Yep, Sept. 23 - Sept. 25, 2011 |
thanks - but we're more interested in just quilts. We've thought about the Expo, but there seems to be a lot there that wouldn't really interest us.....

This is a map of Michigan quilt shows from the Quilter's Travel Companion website. It's best to verify the date(s) and times.
I used to live in Michigan and attended the show in Kalamazoo several times. It's a very nice show and I'd recommend it. http://quilterstravelcompanion.com/q...uilt-shows.php |
Thank you, KarenK. This helps a LOT! :-)

Depends on how far you want to travel....
Marshall, MI - Sept 10&11 I've really liked this one. Kalamazoo, MI - Oct 15,16 |
I've heard the Marshall show is nice. That's about over 2 hours driving one way for me, but if I know it's worth the drive, I can do it. You've been before? Lots of quilts and vendors?
Thanks for the info. |
