What kind of patterns did your sister use for her son's babies? Traditional, contemporary? Maybe that will give you some ideas...

There are many colors that are neutral and by using them you can start right away. Also what if they decide not to know the sex until "He or She" is born. I would prefer to start right away and give myself more time to finish the quilt. I like to get it done in plenty of time!!! Be sure to show us what you choose.
