Baby Quilt with Prairie Points
I thought I posted this yesterday, but can't find it.
I am going to make a baby quilt for my new great-granddaughter who will arrive in June. I would like to put prairie points around it. I will quilt it on my Tin Lizzie. Do I put them on before I quilt or after, and do I have to stop quilting a certain distance from the edge. Thanks for your help. |
I did mine after it was quilted and added it into the binding.

Someone told me she didn't use a binding, folded backing edge under 1/4" and handstitched. Don't know if I have to stop and not quilt at the edge and how much.

There's a few tips on some of these sites, hopefully you'll get the info you need. https://www.google.ca/search?q=how+t..._pF6yV8QediYFQ

I had mine quilted all the way to the edge, then added Prairie Points and binding.
|
Could add them first and then use a pillowcase style to use for the backing.

Thanks for your help.
