Could someone please tell me ,what is the standard size of a baby quilt ? Thank you , Michele

I'm not sure there is a standard size. I make alot of them and usually I stay around the 42 x 60ish or smaller depending on the block size I choose. Another good size for smaller ones is 36x48 or so.

I make baby quilts about 40 x 40" or 42 " squre according to the block, But some make them longer

I am using the jelly roll fabric in strips, then cutting in squares. Not sure what size squares? I never used jelly roll strips before so this is something new to me........Any ideas or sites for tips would be greatly appreicated............Michele

I like to make them a little bigger than infant size. Mine usually come out about 50X66". My theory is, "will a two or three year old still be able to wrap up in his favorite quilt". So far, all of the parents and little ones have been happy with their quilts.
