Hi everybody,
I am trying to make a reversible baby quilt with stippling. The fabric is a race track which I would be using the track for the stippling. How do I start? Sew the 3 layers together first or stipple first and then the 3 layers? Thanks |
Is the back of your quilt a totally different design/pattern? If it is and the stippling from the front would interfere, then you could layer the top and the batting, do your stippling, then put all three layers together and continue with enough quilting to hold the back layer in place.
I can "see" what I am saying. Hope it makes sense to you. |
yes it's a different pattern. I will try that method.
Thanks |
I'll be interested in how it works for you. Let us know. OK.

Sondray,
I would try it on some scraps of the fabrics to see which way is going to look best. It's hard to decide until you see it on the fabrics. Sharon |
thanks everybody for the help, this is a great board.
