Babylock Evolution- what do you know about the bias attachments???

Hi,

I am getting a used Babylock Evolution serger and am hoping that someone can tell me their experience using any of the bias attachment accessories? I am looking to attach binding to hooded towels that have rounded corners so there is not need to miter or any of that business. The towel and binding together will not be thicker than a quilt top.

I tried an attachment for my sewing machine and it just did not work well. Has anyone tried these accessories for putting binding on say a quilt or something of that thickness?

The feel look like these:

The machine is great. I have the Ovation. Check your area and find a Brother dealer and call them and ask for a demo. Most of thier machines will use the foot the same way so even if the don't have the Evolution they can try it on a different one. Good luck and enjoy. So far I've learned how to make a table runner all on the serger with decrotive top stitching, a jacket and this month is a heirloom night gown with insertion lace, so much fun.
