I just LOVE all the quilts posted! Eddie, lovely job as always! :)
Last week I ordered a book from Amazon called Granny Quilts by Darlene Zimmerman. It came in the mail this weekend and I love every quilt pattern in it. If anyone's looking for a good book that focuses on nothing but 30's quilts, I can't suggest this one enough! |

Rachel, I agree, your quilt is beautiful! I love the way you put it together. Mary B MS

Hi Eddie! I'm fairly new to the board. Do you think there'll be enough interest to get a swap going? Mary B MS
|
I'd do it!

ALL of the quilts are beautiful! Great job everyone. Inspiration! Thanks for the websites too! I'm ALWAYS searching for 30's prints on sale/clearance. Hope everyone has a great day! I'll be keeping track to see if we get a 30's fabrics swap going.

Granny 59-i wish I could say yes, it's needleturn, but I can't. I can say that it was origianally supposed to be!LOL but after I hand basted the vines on I decided that was enough hand sewing for me! I kept stabbing my fingers and getting blood on it. So I did a small zigzag on my machine. I love my quilt and am happy with the end result. Thanx.

To all,
Our own MSQuilter 59 is putting in a prayer request. Since this was the thread that she was most recently involved in, I wanted to put this here. Please see under Buy, Trade, Classified for her note. |
