She's so cute and she knows it!

Bad Kitty really is cute, and I have to admit I've never seen a cat on top of a sewing machine. One cat I had liked to lie down behind the sewing machine and occasionally bat the needle going up and down - that's when she was relocated. I hand quilted only one quilt, putting it on top of our old DR table so it wasn't on me during the hot weather, Mischief would lie on the quilt and then occasionally bat at my hand when I was quilting. My current kitty TJ, just likes to lie on my quilts and when it gets chilly and I cover myself with a quilt, she always goes underneath the quilt where it's toasty warm. Our pets bring so much joy into our lives, what's a fw cat hairs on a quilt.

Gotta love 'em.

My cat sits on top of my machine sometimes. I think mostly it's so she can look out the window (we live upstairs). And she likes to chew on the spindle where my thread goes (she's a chewer--ate two bamboo knitting needles!).

The little foot cabinet comes with the machine. It is really handy, but pricey to buy on its own. I need another one, but am just too cheap! My feet that don't fit are in a drawer.

Bad Kitty (aka Chloe) stays safe in the sewing area. I put my pincushion in a drawer when unattended and cover my machine and the thread. She really prefers hard, shiney objects like my seam ripper, marbles and such. My last kitty (who died of FIP) would try to eat my flower pins. Even if I was yelling and swacking at her, she would feverishly try to get the pin and run before I could stop her! That scared me. Chloe is just nosey! Thanks for all the nice comments about her coat. I guess the $20 a bag food is working. Did I mention she and her sister are spoiled?
