I consider my fabric "life insurance". I can't die, I have too much fabric left! At this rate, I have to live to be 300 years old!!!!

Since I started quilting again after being out of it for many years (about 20 I think). I have started my stash again. I can't go by any store that has it. I watch Joannes like a hawk. There is a small place in town and I hit it once a week incase of a markdown. Am collecting patterns online like crazy. I did keep all my old books but gave away my old stash. One of these days I will set it up orderly. Right now...it's still buy time!

That's a nice way to put that all our prices are going up also :) No worries from here yet, have a way to go to put a dent in these pretties :) just have to convince my auto that fab store is gone.... coming soon a Hobby Lobby. OMG may be in trouble :) Is there such a thing as a fabroligist ?? |
My quilting friend heard there was a failed crop, however I told her we did plan ahead. Bad news it will affect all of our purchased clothing as well. Wear rags and stay home and quilt!

My screen name says it all. LOL

Wall Street Journal had an article today saying that cotton prices are going down again (for next year's crop).
Hmmm.... wonder if at some point the fabric manufacturers will LOWER their prices, when next year's cotton crop hits the market? |
