Here's one of my favorites - the Big Bucket Tote made from a jelly roll. This bag is HUGE!
http://www.pellonprojects.com/projec...type&type=bags There are 57 bag projects on that page at Pellon's website; here's the general link: http://www.pellonprojects.com/projec...type&type=bags |

Craftsy.com has free classes. You can ask questions and they include free videos:
I haven't viewed them yet but have: Bag Making Basics There are a couple of different ones with different bags, including a tote and zippered pouch. |
These all sound like great sites. Thanks, everyone, for sharing!

I just happened across this site yesterday - glad to share
http://patternpile.com/sewing-patter...s-free-series/ |
Patternpile is interesting.... I emailed them to see about possibly advertising my pattern on Craftsy... but I never heard back.
But then, a week or two later, they put an article together about my bag. I think patternpile has some interesting things for beginners.... it's a fun place to snoop around. |
Thank you all for sharing. Lots of great sites.
