I'm always coming up with ideas for pincushions but never a soft ball. Thank you for sharing and thanks for looking at one of my newest too.

I have offered them back, but no one will claim them. Also, it is by private teams that we cannot find. No one has ever come and asked for them back either. So, we just don't give them back. The office was there before the field was. Find it odd that they do not face the field in a different direction so they do not hit them out of the field, or why do they not raise the fence higher up so the balls do not fly into our office or they daycare behind us? Apparently it has been an issue for some time. The boss is just tired of being the nice guy and they do not pay for any of the damage. We would have to pay the $500 deductible for different repairs that would have to be made. Then, our insurance goes up because we file claims against ours. So it just keeps going and going. So let us make lemonade out of the situation.

Took me three times to get the size covering right and just used all my scraps from projects and the scrap bags from Buggy Barn they offer once a month for $5. Good deal if ya can pick one up. This is what I came up with. No pattern yet, but if it does well in show, will make for craft show and gifts for my quilt friends.

I question too, why not give the balls back? If the baseball field was there before your company, your company accepted that risk when you moved in. I would try to work with them to solve the problem. "Just trying to see both sides" I love your little man also, but would rather see the baseballs used for what they were made for.
