Try Eleanor Burns Quick Trip Quilts. They look like Bargello and use fat quarters but the technique is a little different.

If you have ever seen the pattern twisted bargello I did that quilt with primarily fat 1/4's. The fabrics that were full width I cut in half to make all the strips sets the same lenght.

One of M'liss Rae Hawley's Fat Quarter books has a bargello pattern. I've made the top, but it's a UFO still...

That's not a good thing, but I'm glad everyone is OK. Enjoy the rest of the vacation.

Wendy, I can't wait to see pics of your bargello!

Lori S your bargello quilt is beautiful.

Wendys quilts, I have found there are several ways to come to the same end, some easier and/or faster than others. Give your idea a whirl and see how it works for you. There is no right or wrong way to do any quilts.

My sister just made a baby bargello from 4 1/2 inch strips of pastel batiks. Went up quickly and is beautiful.

I have some fat quarters to use ...Anyone make a Bargello with just fat quarters...is what I am asking hahahaha...sorry for the rambling

Eleanor burns has a pattern for Bargellos in her book "trip around the world". They are simple Bargellos, but they are beautiful.
