Did I read this wrong, or are they really trying to sell this fabric for $250!?? I know it's for 8 1/2 yards, but...... I understand that most fabric lines are manufactured in limited quantities, but come on!!! You better grab this up while you can!! As for me, I'll pass!!!

Is it vintage? If so, it may be worth that much to someone.

It's not vintage. The seller states that he/she originally purchased it to cover their grandchildren's toybox. It also states that the seller will putting up more "rare or hard to find" fabrics in the coming days.

Yes, you read that correctly. Wow, I think, no I know, I would pass on that also. That is a lot of $$ for something appearing to be vintage. Is it? I think that seller should rethink that one.

It is only $30 a yard. I think I will pass... It doesn't say where she purchased it, but it looks vintage. So who knows.

Even though the description lists it as rare/hard to find... I think I will pass too :D:D:D

That doesn't mean it's not true, vintage fabric.

I just received an email from her about the age of the fabric. She is making a guess that it is from the early 1980s. Does that make it vintage? :? How old does a fabric need to be in order to be considered "vintage?"

I did a quick search on how old something has to be to be called vintage. And the answer is at least 20 years. So if this fabric is from the 1980's I suppose it would be considered vintage. But I will still pass on it at $30 a yard (plus shipping).

In my mind early 1980's doesn't warrant a $30 per yard price, either.
