hi everyone, do anyone know of a good place online to buy batiks at a good price ,also i have a simply crazy quilting template and i do not find the instructions on the back enough info for me. i tried the web site but it do not have a tute so i am not sure how to use it. thanks, all you quilters out there are just the best.

Cotton Loft and Thousands of Bolts have batiks. Cotton Loft you can find some at $4.75 per yd. and some at $2.25 per yard. 1 yard minimum.

Thousands of Bolts averages $5.95 per yard. Can only order in whole yard increments

I have ordered only orderd the 4.95 batiks from Cotton loft I do not like the style of the $2 stuff. TOB batiks are nice too. I have also gotten decent closeout prices from Fabric Depot on batiks.

BTW they are having a sale on their non closeout batiks at 35% off so averaging between $7 and $8 per yard. MUCH wider selection than Connecting Threads for only a tiny bit more $$.

While they are a bit more at $8.49/yd than Connecting Threads, they are much less than the $11/yd I'm seeing in my LQS. They are brand names, heavier weight. They have much more variety and also have some exclusive designs. If you are looking for more options than what Connecting Threads has, it's a good place to look.

Batiks, Etc. and WebFabrics also have great selections. Batiks, Etc. has a "Why Not Wednesday" email special that always includes some batiks. Another place I like to buy batiks is Stitch-n-Frame in Mississippi. They have Thursday email specials that almost always include several lines of batiks.
