I have started on my Cathedral Windows quilt. I have about 3ft by 3ft. Now I know that traditionally they don't use batting but I was wondering if anyone has? Without batting it's thicker than just a quilt top but not as thick as a quilt. Or have that nice feel. I'm using all batiks. And Eddies tutorial! Any suggestions before I go any further? I am just not quite as happy as I want to be with this

I made a Faux Cathedral Windows throw for my hubby using old jeans & his old shirts. I did tuck a piece of batting under the windows so make them poof out a little and to make it heavier. He likes them heavy. I don't care for the "flat" look of the traditional pattern.

I've never seen CW with batting. It's usually unlined, too.
