Batting mess on cutting mat.

I had to cut a lot of batting squares and now have a big mess to clean. I usually turn the mat over but forgot to this time.

Wow How did I get so many pics posted? I can't find a way to delete them either. ;)

I use a plastic scrubby (for cleaning dishes) and scrub! works for me!
|
Mine always looks like this after I cut fleece! Just use a kitchen scrubbie thing, it will take it right off.
|
I used both a plastic scrubby and on the really embedded stuff I used one of those green scoring pads (I get them at the dollar store).
BUT, a better solution is to designate a mat specifically for cutting batting and fleece as well. So if you have an older mat, kind of worn, make that the one you use and get yourself a nice new mat when they go on sale at Joanns. That's what I finally ended up doing. |

All done! I used the blade scrapper that came with my smooth top stove and it was a breeze to clean, then used the lint roller to get all the loose fibers.
I can't get the pictures right today. LOL |
At least you know how to post a picture. I haven't figured that out yet.

Where did you get your turtle pin cushion? I love it! I am a turtle lover.

Get a mat scrubber

Yeah on posting pics and for getting the mat clean! I usually cut batting with scissors or use a different mat. This is why I have a new mat now!
