Hi! I am about to make a first quilt using Warm and Natual batting. Question is...do I use one layer or two? One seems awfully thin to quilt on but is two layers too much? Can I get some feedback as to what you use and how you like it? I will be machine quilting it. Thanks!!!

I only use one layer it is warm.

Just use one layer. It will be just fine when it is quilted. If you want a quilt with a puffier look you need a different batting - Hobb's Wool or a poly batting.

One layer is plenty warm. If you're looking for puffy, you'll need a different batting. But don't let the thickness (or thin-ness, as the case may be) of W&N fool you. It's nice and cozy!

Commonly we only use on batting. I have used two on several quilts, this week the Storm At Sea, w/n on the bottom and Hobbs Wool on top... mmmmm.... it looks great.

I mostly use warm and natural and only use one layer. It's fine like that.
