batting for t-shirt quilt

What batting is the best to be used in the shirt quilts. Need a batt for a gift quilt and do not know which fiber content to use.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I used polyester batting in mine. The thin one. I used woven fabric for the sashing and back. With the weight of the t shirts, the poly batting was lighter than cotton. I tied my t-shirt quilts because I didnt have time to quilt them and this was the first time for that type of quilt. It will be interesting to see what everyone says.

Thank you SewMom, I will use the low loft poly batting.

I use Warm & Natural. Thin, but warm.

Thank you Cindi, I do have some W&N but have found it to be rather 'stiff' in a quilt. You are from a location I have not heard of, will have to get out the mitten map to see where you are.

Farmquilter, the W&N does, when quilting, seem stiff. But when you wash it up it is oh, so soft. And I'm in SW Michigan - an hour south of Grand Rapids! But, honestly, I'm a born-and-bred-Buckeye. Go Bucks!
