Batting?

Which batting would you choose for a large wall quilt?

I plan on washing it, and I don't want alot of crinkle...

For a wall hanging I'd use a polyester batt.

Polyster works for wall hangings, if you plan to wash it. Or you could prewash if you want to use cotton. Silk is nice, but pricey.

Polyester. It doesn't shrink, and it will keep a large wall quilt relatively light in weight.

I just quilted two wall quilts for a friend using Soft and Bright (poly batting) from the Warm Company. It has a very even texture, unlike some poly batts that seem to be thinner in some spots than others.

I have only made one and used poly batting. Mostly all I use for quilts too.

Thermore is a polyester batting that is a perfectly even thin-ness all over. I haven't used it for a wall hanging, but for quilts, and have been pleased with it when I wanted a polyester.

I decided to use Hobbs Polydown. Thanks for your recommendations. Here is the quilt: https://www.quiltingboard.com/pictur...s-t295976.html
