I am now ready to quilt my first quilt top. I am using flannel backing as well as the flannel quilt top. here is the link to my quillt top: This is a baby quilt....

I purchased the only thing I could find @ WalMart which was a heavy batting which to me seems too stiff. What would all of you quilters recommend. Light or midweight batting? I wasn't sure about the fusible battings which were mid and lightweights, so that is why I purchased the heavier weight non fusible, which I can totally use in the future.
Thanks for your input!

With the two flannels, I would go with a light poly batting.

Thank you for your advice, very much appreciated! I purchased a low loft 1/4" batting and am much happier with it on my sample. Thank you again for your help.
