yes. same song, different verse. now they go in a different place and have a new name. when they go on the mantel, they are a mantel scarf. on the table, a runner. wherever you put them, they're a decorative strip of fabric embellished in some way, usually not necessary, but pretty nonetheless.

I remember an old episode of simply quilts that used the runners over the pillows. Connecting Threads has book under $5 I think.

I am in the process of making one for a Christmas gift from the book Bedrunners Using Precut Fabrics. Found the book at JoAnns for $7.95 in paperback. I am using a Moda jelly roll. Should be done in a day or so. I will post when I finish.
