what a great idea! I don't have a fancy camera phone but then no one would steal on of my quilts! I hope yours comes home

I haven't read every page of this post, so I apologize if I am repeating.....has anyone thought of the devices that are being implanted in pets in case of loss? I have no idea the expense, but if a quilt is worth hundreds, if not thousands of dollars, why not install one of those gizmos?

Yes, this HAS been discussed. RFIDs (Radio Frequency Identification) is not practical because the microchips can get expensive, you need an RFID reader in order to identify it, and how would the finder know there is a chip in the quilt somewhere?
