Before I get too carried away, what do you folks think?
Should I continue with the border, that you see on the left or should I just put in another RED (one that is in the heart) and call it good? Right now, WITHOUT the border, it's 48x48. If I put the Log Cabin Block border all the way around, it would make it 60x60, and then maybe an 8" red around that to make it a total of 76x76 (if my addition is correct, someone correct me if I am wrong). I didn't design it to be for a bed OR a lap, I guess it could go for either. So, what do ya'll think? I'm open to any and all suggestions. In the middle of the heart, I am embroidering "My heart belongs to my Sailor". I had it started, but my little girl cat decided she needed a comfy place to sleep, so she curled up on the top while it was embroidering and the lettering didn't come out too well. 3 hours later, I got the embroidery taken out. UGH! ( I love my cat, I love my cat, I love my cat) |

I love it either way:)

I think if you continue the border and then just added the red as binding it would set everything off nicely!!! but all I can tell you for sure is that is one pretty quilt!!!

I like it with just the red border. It really sets off the heart. It's a really eye-catching quilt :D

I think I'd put the 8 inch red border instead of the log cabin border, but either way, it's wonderful!
