I'm looking for a quilt pattern that I can use to make my nephew a quilt for his bed. I have found some cute ones on kauffman.com but they are not big enough.
Any suggestions? I'm willing to pay a small amount for a pattern.
Thanks,

Just resize the cute ones you like and make bigger. It will turn out great.

There are lots of free patterns available on line or here. Go under 'search' at the top of the screen. I'm sure people will have suggestions, also.

My first quilt was using Yellow Brick Road but since then I have enjoyed Turning Twenty as it has big squares and easy to make. I've made several since it highlights your fabric, is all squares and quick to do. Not free pattern but I have found at thrift stores and garage sales in past. There are many variations to this pattern but I like the original one the best. Have fun with your first project.

Just add borders to the one you like. I always change the sizes.

Actually, it would be great to make an "I Spy" quilt.
It is just the snowball pattern, and you use the novelty
fabric for the center, 6" sq. and use 2-1/2 sq. for the
corners, sew diagnally, it really turns out cute, and kids
love it.

The pattern Just Can't Cut It by All Washed Up is very simple, too. It includes measurements from a lap size to king size, I believe.
