Bernina 330

Who has a Bernina 330? Pros and Cons? I just bought one yesterday. I use to have a Bernina 440QE and sold it when I bought a long arm because I didn't need the BSR anymore and it was more bells and whistles than I needed. I bought a Bernina 330 yesterday on Xmas sale for $699!! I ahve been wanting to get one but didn't want to put out the $ for it so I was so happy when someone posted on Facebook that they Bernina 330 was on sale--and yesterday was the last day. My local Dealer still had one in stock. I am so happy to have a Bernina again. I do really like my Pfaff Essential Ambition for piecing but I liked my Bernina better for binding. I think my Pfaff will now become my travel machine.

Great price! I know you will love it, it's a beautiful looking machine I test sewed all three models when I was shopping for a class machine. All the 3 series sewed wonderfully but none had the auto thread cutter which is a must have for me.

That is a wonderful sale! I just noticed the Bernina website says the 330 is backordered 4 to 6 weeks, lots of people taking advantage of the sale. I recently purchased the limited edition 765 (rose colored), and I got the 330 as a freebie with it. I did upgrade to the 350 because I really wanted the hands free knee lift, which doesn't come on 330. I love the series 3 machines. I have read that you can have the knee lift added to the 330 though.

I sold my 350, after owning it for 3 weeks, and bought a 530. I want all my machines to have adjustable foot pressure. I can't believe that a machine that costs $1300 doesn't! Most folks do like the 300 series machines, I'm just fussy.

The 330 will be fine for what I need. I work full time plus do longarm quilting for customers so I don't actually even get much time to do much sewing.

I don't have the 330, but I have four Bernina's and wouldn't own any other kind. I am in love with them!

I've had 2 Bernina sewing machines and have a Bernina serger. I also love my Bernina's. I do my piecing on my vintage Singers, but there's nothing like a Bernina for putting it all together and for clothing construction and mending.
