Just curious if you purchase a bsr for the 430 that it would work.
thanks you professionals, you! :) a |
Yes, the BSR works just fine on the 430.

Thank-you! :)

Do you just mean do we like the BSR? I definately do, but I think some people have had mixed results with it.
|
I never use mine. The starts and stops are not even for me, but I have several friends who just love it. I would take a project into the dealer and try it on an actual quilt of my own to see if it was for me before you spend the money.

OK, now I have to ask...what is a BSR? I might need one and not even know it! LOL

You are welcome. My first Bernina was a 440QE which came with the BSR. I never would have been brave enough to even try FMQ'ing if it hadn't been for that. I also have a stitch regulator on my Juki which is on a frame. I still have a lot of practicing to do, but I have had a great time with my first attempts at FMQ'ing. Some folk say the BSR is like training wheels for a bike, it helps you learn and then you can do it with out them....not sure if I will ever take my training wheels off, but we will see ;-)
