I bought mine second hand a couple of years ago and love it. It's a great machine that sees a lot of use.

I have the Bernina 440 QE and I must say that I just love her!! She's a real workhorse and doesn't require a lot of attention to keep her running smoothly..... :D

I have the Bernina 440QEE and it's a powerhouse. Will sew anything. Many attachments, perfect for sewing clothing, household decor, canvas, anything.

I have mine set for embroidery with rayon thread, and that's all I use it for.

But it is capable of Much more than that.

I've had one for 6 months and love it-just finished my last 2 classes related to machine-they were sooo helpful. Having a store that offers support is a plus. I had sewn for 40+ years on a Singer Touch and Sew-this is like a Lexus by comparison.

I've had mine for about 3 years and its a good old reliable workhorse. However, I wish it had a) a bigger throat, b) an automatic thread snipper, and c) warning light when the bobbin thread is running out !! A wish list, yes, but a lot of other makes now have these as standard
