Bernina dual feed
 

I have a Bernina 710 and I love, love, love it. However, as it has gotten older, I am having difficulty engaging the dual feed function. Do any other Bernina owners have this problem? Any suggestions on a solution?

Like any mechanical thing, it needs to be cleaned and oiled occasionally. It might be time for a trip to the repair shop. It would be an easy fix.

I can pull the lever down, but then I get an error message that I need to put in a D foot. I have mentioned it to the dealer when I service it yearly but it just works sporadically.

Pfaff has IDT on their machines, all sizes, levels, since the 1970's. I have never had this happen on any of my Pfaff machines.
