Bernina minimatic 807 from dmil

Last yr. at this time I didn't quilt. Last yr. this time an old sewing machine would not have mattered to me. Now I'm a quilter. Now dmil is gone (6 mths ago). I'm proud to give a good home to her old sewing machine. Cleaned it a little; inserted a new needle, threaded it and sewed just a little. Looking forward to getting to know, use, and cherish her.

What a treasure! Wouldn't your dear MIL be proud! :-)

She looks great. You can look her up on google and find out her upkeep and care for many years of use.

Congratulations. I have one that I picked up at a garage sale for $10. She sews beautifully, just like her big sister, my Bernina 830 Record. You will love her, for sure.

Looks almost like the one I've had for years. Love it!

I, too, have an 807 and a vintage 830 (and a Bernina 1031). They are my machines of choice! I prefer to use them, teach on them, share them with my Mother and students. They are solid, hard-working, easy-care, wonderful machines, you will love it!

Looks a lot like my Bernina 801 Sport, except mine has a middle knob for buttonholes. I had to buy a new foot pedal for it, but now it runs great and goes over those seams like they aren't even there! My Elna, with all the fancy stitches, clunks every time it hits a seam. You will really enjoy your machine!
