How does this stitch regulator work exactly?
|
It has an "eye" (laser) which counts the threads in the fabric you are stitching over. It then makes you stitch length cover the same number of threads...regulates your stitch length. I have to say that it makes the prettiest stitches.

Stitch Regulator is a patented name. There are other versions like fabric movers.

I have the Bernina 440 QEE and it is wonderful. I don't think any other mfg has the BSR. You can't buy it for any machine because the machine has to have the BSR hook up built in to it.

I went to a show today and actually got to try out a Bernina 440 with the stitch regulator. Wow... not much else I can say, (big sigh) ...just wow!
