I collect thimbles so that would be the next biggest amount in my sewing room. If you're talking about items to use, I have MANY pairs of scissors (ginghers are my favorite) and several rotary cutters ( martelli ergo is the best).

For me that would be all kinds of gadgets for quilting, books/magazines,rulers, Jim Shore quilt figures...pin cushions.

For kitchen I collect colorful roosters/hens,kitchen gadgets that work, pans, and tea pots/cups( ceramic).

Books and patterns in my opinion.

Patterns and recipes, though I don't mean for them to be a collection, but a supply which I hope to make. Can't possibly happen in my lifetime, but the desire is there.

Books/magazines/patterns/info
fabric
old Singer feet
anything quilty that's cheap (I just outfitted a beginning quilter friend from my accumulation of "extras", including a cutting mat, rulers, cutter, a cut 'n press)
Software
Machines (4 full size, 1 toy)
Notions

other stuff: Hall china in RED, lanterns, plastic radios, electronic stuff, VW stuff, cooking stuff
We have run out of space and are't accumulating stuff too badly...staying out of thrift stores mostly!!
