For myself it is UFOs -- :)
Then I love old wooden empty thread spools. |
Christmas ornaments, especially Boyd's Bears. (Best thing about collecting Christmas ornaments is you never have to dust them.)
Definitely dog hair and dust bunnies. 30 years ago I told my then-to-be husband that if he wanted to live with Susie Homemaker he should keep looking. He'd tell you for certain I wasn't kidding. :-) |
RugosaB
funny - I guess I nees to add that to the things I collect too |
Ummmm, dust? In all seriousness, I think I collect books, magazines and patterns most besides fabric...
|
Ideas from other quilters! Other than that, books, patterns, and notions.

harryb1834 after 20 pages of what everyonew collects, what is your thoughts as to what quilters collect?
|
In this household I would say sewing machines. Have acquired my grandmothers, his mother's and aunt's, my mother's, 3 featherweights I have found at yard sales, my embroidery machine and one I use specifically for quilting. Oh, and forgot the 5 that I have picked up for the daughter and daughter's in law over the years. I am now in downsizing mode and will be letting some of them go to new households where they will be used and loved.
I prefer the old ones that you can service yourself. Ann in TN |
Umm, UFOs?
