I never get rid of thread, so I guess you could say say I collect it. I don't buy extra thread but do seem to attract it.
Right now I have a ton of embroidery thread most of which came as a bonus with other purchases. If I turned my machine on now, I think I could go several years without stopping except for bobbin fill.;) The other thing I seem to be attracted to right now are purse patterns. |

I never thought about my books and magazines being a collection but yeah those. And I have a few vintage sewing machines including toy ones. My pincushions are what I think I collect. Other than ones others have given me all mine are made in Japan vintage animal ones. Or the ones with the little men around them. I love the colors. Thimbles that have come with sewing lots I got off of ebay. Vintage lace and doilys. some sewing boxes, Eeyores. Rocks yep them too, Everytime someone travels anywhere I ask them to bring me a rock .I will never get to travel to these places so this is having a part of the places. I have one from Ireland that my DD's best freind brought me back, From Brazil, Rome, and other places my brother has traveled.
Hmmm looks like I need to stop collecting something. LOL |
