Thank you for all your comments. I will now start a batting journal, that is so smart!

My vote is for Quilter's Dream. (I have a roll of 70/30.) Warm & Natural has gotten so thin, even in the 5 or so years I've been quilting.

I have recently used the Pellon Nature Touch. It is cotton with a scrim. It drapes and is soft like Quilters Dream. The price is MUCH better as you can get in Joann's. They have it pretty reasonably priced when on sale or use a coupon. I really love it. I envy those of you with quilt shops nearby.

Since I am a machine quilter, I really prefer the Warm & Natural batting, white or beige, and I don't need to quilt as closely together than other batting.

I like Hobbs 80/20 the best.

I love the Hobbs 80/20, and for kids quilts are a smidge more puffy.

Has anyone else tried the batting made out of soda bottles? I think it is called Green Dream. I used it in my last quilt and it worked up very nicely and washed great as well. Hopefully it will hold up since it was a Wedding gift. oh and it is reasonable, kindof.

I use Warm and Natural 80/20 - tried Hobb's Poly down and it was good but very puffy when quilting. I recently purchased a roll of Pellon Nature's touch - it was on sale at Joann's and I had a 25% off purchase coupon too - the roll was 90" x 20 yrds for around $ 80. It was worth it to try - I haven't used it yet but its seems nice on the roll.

I saw where the Warm Company has a new batting called Warm and Plush. It is a softer and thicker cotton batting. Has anyone tried it yet?

Joyce, I think I'll try it too. Will you let us know if you like it when you try it? Thanks
