I need some advise from the experts! I bought a small area rug to go under my sewing chair as the floor is laminated and the chair scoots around too much, the problem is all the threads that I drop whilst sewing. I try to hit the garbage can but I miss. I have a cumbersome Rainbow vacuum and just want something so that at the end of the sewing day I can quickly pick up the threads around my sewing area. I have been using a lint roller but I am sure there is something better than taht.
Thanks in advance for your help :)

I have a Sharp rechargable combo. It has the mini hand vacumn which clicks into the main stick vac. Have had a couple and really like this brand. It picks up well. And you just empty out the clear chamber on the hand vacumn. Also, my DGC love it so I get them to vacumn small areas with it. LOL

YOu can buy a roller non-electric vacuum at places. It's like the restaurants use. It sweeps w/o electricity and you empty it. Keep it right there. ALso, DH put one of those lint rollers on a long stick for me so I just pull for a new tab, then roll, and whalah. Done. No bending over on the floor. Guess he's tired of cleaning my vacuum. LOL. ONce a week out to his shop to remove all threads, ROFL
