my favorite iron, been the best for almost 5 years now cost me $12 at wally world...i do believe it is a black & decker. i have an expensive iron in my closet (over $130) that i HATE! i will take my good cheap iron any day. it stays hot for hours on end and never lets me down.

Thanks for all the help. I have tried a lighter one and it seemed like I had to press it more than once to get the block to lay flat. Found a different one that was heavier and it worked better.

you can get the old fashioned dry irons at the Vermont Country Store. They work great.

I just heard the other day that the Velocity is the BEST:P
