Best Laid Plans.....

...don't always come out so well.

After sewing all these sections together, thinking I had everything just right, there are four areas that have to come apart and be re-done. So frustrating!
Not only do they have to be ripped, the sashing has to be taken off and turned around.
Deep breath.
I will finish this.....and then this flock is going to be pate foie gras.

Ugh! So close!! I'll mail you some toast points for that foie gras... yummeh! All I can think is I would have had 3x more switching to do if it were me - it's really coming out gorgeously!

Thanks for sharing, I think it's important that we share the things that go bad and that we either fix or keep that way.

It's going to be glorious once you are happy with it!

Stick with it, it’s going to be great!

Nothing worse than a date with Jack, but, this will be spectacular when it’s all said and done, perhaps an adult beverage will help ease the pain of frogging, I can’t wait to see it completed!

I feel your pain. Ripping is the least favorite part of sewing. I try to be sure before sewing. I will toss the block and start over if it a major flaw. I had to rip two rows apart on this current quilt so that one could be rotated. Arrrg!

Love your quilt pattern and color choices.

Lovely quilt, Watson, but to be honest, I can't see the problem. Looks great as it is.

I agree with Gay!

I think I can see what you're changing in one area, but I'm stumped on the others. I'll love to see it when it's changed so it makes sense. I love it and the colours! So rich looking.

You’ll have to explain what’s wrong here. I’m not sire I understand completely.
