Lintless is not ever going to happen. You are though using one of the best threads already and it is lower in lint than most
|
Lint comes from fabric and thread, I use Aurifil most of the time and seldom have lint issues to blame on the thread. The correct size needle makes a difference too. If your needle is too small or the wrong type it can rub the thread creating more lint. It is Normal to need to clean out the bobbin area at each bobbin change, regardless of thread or fabric, that's just normal.

Superior's So Fine is a very low lint thread.

even if you were using thread made of glass, you'd still fill the machine with lint because fabric is just lint stuck together.
It is important to clean out your machine where you can. I do my bobbin area about every third bobbin. Amazing how hard lint works trying to be fabric again |
There will be lint - particularly with any cotton thread. I took a class to learn how to take care of my machine and now I just clean her more regularly than before. It's really not a big deal for me and the stitch quality improves with every cleaning.

I just tried aurifil for a recent quilting project and I had so much lint! It was a variegated thread so I don't know if that's why or what but I don't plan on using it again!
