I’ve purchased through Batting Supersale, though I doubt if they have Black Friday deals.

I didn't know they sold bolts. I will have to check that out, I have just seen packages of specific sizes.

I use a variety of deals to save extra money, especially on a big purchase like a whole roll of batting. I saved a bunch of money on my last roll of warm & natural by purchasing a Joann's gift card online in advance for a 10% discount, waited until I had a 60% off coupon, and then redeemed a rebate for 10% off my purchase with the Ibotta app.

I recently bought a roll of batting thru Walmart. It was shipped to my home for free. Less hassle that way. Very happy with it.

JoAnn's works for me. Their online price for a bolt is often less money and you can use coupons. I have also asked my JoAnn's to match their online price.

When you use the order online/pick up at store new option for Joanns, please remember it is not a guarantee that they have the item. Also, the emails are checked at certain times (usually three times a day). So, if you order at right after a time check, it could be hours before we pull that email out. With great deals, the items could easily be sold out before the order gets pulled. And there are no rainchecks. So, for huge sales like the rolls of batting, it is still a better idea to actually go to the store (or send someone with a picture and money!). All the quilters know about this batting and will be headed there!

If the ad specifically says online only, it can not be honored at the store (company policy). If someone 'honored' it, it is because there was a coupon available at the time and a manager scanned it. An employee can not and would not risk their job to change a price to an online only sale.

I buy rolls of batting from Marshall Dry Goods. Normal price is $110 + shipping. I have never seen a lower price for Hobbs 80/20, 96" x 30 yards.

The last roll I bought was from Overstock.com for $74 for 20 yd roll plus free shipping. Of course there was sales tax of 10.3% in my Washington county. Still price was approximately $4/yd which isn't bad.
