When you get a full bolt of batting from Joann's, do you need to pre-order it or anything? Or do they usually have stuff like that in stock?

Warm and Natural batting that is 90" wide is usually $30 a meter around here.

I just ordered a full roll of batting from Joann's online yesterday. DH called the local store to see if they carried it by the roll and how they would charge for it. They said they do have it that way, but no special pricing--they would charge by the yard! I went ahead and ordered it online with my 40% off coupon, but still had to pay shipping and state sales tax. It was still cheaper that way, than to have purchased it at the sale price of $5.49/yd and use the 10% coupon. And I have the luxury of having it delivered right to my front door!

I bought 10 yards at $5.50/yd. Sale ends today. Can probably get it online as well. FYI, I've seen where some lucky people have had hangers made to suspend the bolt from the ceiling in their sewing spaces. Simple hooks and a chain to go through the middle of the bolt. It's on my list of to do's.

Dream Cotton is very reasonable AND it is a dream to quilt by hand or machine.
