It is cheaper if you pay online with the US Post Office. If you have a PayPal account, you can ship using PayPal without any fees using the SHIP NOW. Delivery Confirmation is only 19 cents rather than 75 cent @ the USPS. If you want more info, PM me.

You don't even need Paypal to get the discount. You can set up your own account from home with USPS.

My son sent a game system via the post office with insurance. Needless to say the "insurance" isn't helping the damaged package. It is turning into a nightmare, with refunding the buyer and now has nothing to show for the sale. If it needs insurance I would go with someone else.

Just one experience, but probably not the only one.

But PayPal has more options.

You can't buy postage/print labels at USPS.com for First Class Parcel, Media Mail and Parcel Post services(and all with DelConf for $.19).

You can via PayPal.
