That's what I always use (the washable markers) and love them....I pick them at up at the dollar store. Of course, I always starch the crap out of my quilts so I'm marking on the starch and after washing all the marks are completely gone :)

**You don't have to rub with the FriXion marker on fabric, you just touch it with a hot dry iron. It works great. Immediately disappears.
