Is this better with the green plaid in the first photo, or the blue zig zag in the second photo?

Prism99 03-29-2018 10:29 PM

Green plaid is better for me.

Tothill 03-29-2018 10:33 PM

Green Plaid.

DresiArnaz 03-29-2018 10:38 PM

Another vote for green plaid.

QuiltnNan 03-30-2018 02:30 AM

I like the green

bearisgray 03-30-2018 02:55 AM

Another vote for the green plaid.

PiedPiper 03-30-2018 04:00 AM

Green plaid. :)

luvstoquilt 03-30-2018 04:33 AM

Green for me too!

Barb in Louisiana 03-30-2018 04:42 AM

I agree with bearisgray. The green plays with the quilt better. The only way I would use the blue is to have a border of it planned. And then it still may not work.

Homespun 03-30-2018 05:15 AM

Green is my vote!

Mariposa 03-30-2018 05:44 AM

Green gets my vote!

Onebyone 03-30-2018 05:55 AM

When I first looked at the picture I didn't see the green. The blue jumped out, seemed out of place. I vote for the green.

joe'smom 03-30-2018 06:20 AM

We rarely see a unanimous vote here, LOL. I was hoping to cool down the palette some, but I could see that the blue was jumping out. Thanks for your replies!

actually, the green plaid is "cooling it down"

eparys 03-30-2018 08:03 AM

I too agree - green plaid for me goes better than the blue

zozee 03-30-2018 12:47 PM

Green is a cool color. It's always known as "nature's neutral." It goes better with the other fabrics you've chosen.

Boston1954 03-30-2018 03:27 PM

The green one blends better. I am thinking of making a brick quilt too. I bet they go together fast.

SusieQOH 03-30-2018 03:29 PM

I think green as well. I love blue but in this case it just doesn't go.

cashs_mom 03-30-2018 05:05 PM

I like the green plaid also.

Daylesewblessed 03-30-2018 06:01 PM

I vote for green.

jlt37869 03-30-2018 06:03 PM

I think green!

Teen 03-30-2018 07:03 PM

Green for me.... The blue is distracting

BETTY62 03-30-2018 07:25 PM

Both fabrics will work but the green is my favorite.

sewhappyinSF 03-30-2018 07:31 PM

The green plaid blends in with the other fabrics, IMHO.

kittiebug 03-31-2018 03:42 AM

I like the green too.

Fizzle 03-31-2018 06:27 AM

Green is my choice

JanieH 03-31-2018 08:44 AM

I'm definitely with the majority and cast my vote for the green plaid.

grose 03-31-2018 10:29 AM

Green plaid

Battle Axe 03-31-2018 12:41 PM

Blue plaid looks scrappier. I vote for the green.

We are unanimous!

greaterexp 03-31-2018 02:54 PM

green plaid

IceLeopard 03-31-2018 04:20 PM

Another vote for the green. The blue jumps out at you, the green blends in.

Rhonda Lee 03-31-2018 07:34 PM

Its green for me too. what a fun quilt.

Mimiqwerty 03-31-2018 08:35 PM

Green plaid. It seems to fit in with the other colors. I assume you were looking for a fabric to blend in?

JustAbitCrazy 04-03-2018 04:31 AM

Green plaid for me, too. I had to look to find it while the blue really jumps out of the mix and looks like it doesn't belong. Crazy.

The quilt palette felt very hot and heavy to me, so I was looking for something that would relieve that feeling. It's looking better to me now than it did initially.

katiebear1 04-04-2018 05:58 AM

Yep definitely green.
