Our LQS had a 25% off Store wide sale today, even on clearance! I went with 4 of my Quilting friends and we had a wonderful time. I had not been inside a QS in almost a year. My daughters gave me money for Christmas this year and said it was strictly for my quilting supplies. I got 15 yds. of fabric, 2 patterns, needles, micro pens, and a couple of charm Packs. They even had snacks, cheese, sausage, crackers and all kinds of different cookies. Afterwards we all went out to dinner. What a great way to start the New Year!!

Gotta love those sales! My LQS sale started today, and I stocked up! Backings for 3 quilts, and a variety of lights for my stash since I discovered recently that I am very short on those.

Good for you. I need to use up some of my stash before I buy anymore fabric.

My LQS has a New Year's Day sale every year. 40% off entire purchase (including their 50% off bin). That is why I ask for gift cards for Christmas.

Mine has one going on now too. 25% off storewide and some fabrics buy one yard get one free. Thats the good news, Bad news is I am sick as a dog with flu/viral thing and can't go. sigh. Hate to spend my time off like this - so many sewing projects I want to do.

I was there, too! I go every year with a friend and we drive over from the coast. I brought my Christmas money and made a nice dent in it!

Your LQS owner is a smart business person! Food and storewide discount is a way to bring in so many customers- old and newbies, too. Sounds like a terrific way to spend your day!

Evil, evil LQS. Mine advertised a 3-day sale, starting yesterday. So I was there bright and early and stocked up with lots of lovely fabric. And this morning, they posted on Facebook - a new batch of 70% off fabric. I HAD to stop in again (70% off? Who can refuse that?). And of course another pile of fabric followed me home. Enablers, all of them :)

I am in Southern Indiana too, makes me wonder where you quilt shop is???... or maybe I better not find out I may spend too much $$$$ :D
