To bind the quilt you will need to use bias binding.

Linda D I wished I had known how to do it that way several years ago . I finished a vintage grandmothers flower garden and didn't know how to bind it . I didn't have anyone to help me . So I trimmed the sides all around even and put a wider binding on it . It looks ok , but it isn't done right . This was a labor of love to me . It was my Grandmothers , she made the blocks in the 20's or 30's . Annie

Thanks for asking the question, and all the helpful answers. I won a Grandmother's Flower Garden in a Guild drawing. It is partially together and will need to be bound. I didn't have a clue how to go about it.

Now....if only it could talk and tell me it's history.
