I have two french tips, but they are not called that. They are called Quilt Binding tips, I have one for a 2-1/4 strip and one for a 2-1/2 strip...Joannes had one and another sewing center had the other. They are fairly new, but you should be seeing them more often soon. They are wonderful, I made 10 strips of continuous French binding in less than 10 mintues last night, all neatly rolled onto a spindle I can hang around my neck and not have it all over the floor gathering threads and dust. It is one of my most favorite inventions of late.

How do you get it all wound onto spindle? I have one and love it too but am not sure how you do THAT. It would be really handy for sure.

I think the spindle/winder is a separate unit from the pressing unit. I wouldn't mind having only the pressing unit as long as it had the quilting tips. :)
