I was making quilted baby bibs for my niece today and they turned out beautiful until I got to the binding. What is the secret of binding around deep curves. The neckline was all puckered and I clipped the seams well.

Try making them with strips cut on the bias. There is a lot more stretch in the binding if it is cut that way. Also, you can try increasing your stitch length a tiny bit at the curve.

You can also use the method where you put the top and backing right sides together (with batting in there somewhere...) and sew all around and turn right sides out. Close the opening and top stitch around the edge. Be sure to add ties first if the bibs are the type that use ties.

Sounds like a winner to me! I bind quilts all the time but those tiny little curved necklines are something else

When applying binding around curves its necessary to make your binding on the bias.
