Do you always cut your binding strips on a 45 degree angle? Can they be cut with an AccuGo Quilt cutter?

i cut mine on straight of grain unless I am binding curves.

I almost always cut binding strips WOF. Cutting 45 degrees is only needed if your binding curved edges.

I used to cut all my binding on the bias because "they" say your supposed to so it lasts longer. I now perfer to cut it on the straight of grain because it looks better(straighter) and is MUCH easier to cut and apply. I see no reason why you couldn't cut it on your AccuGo. I do still join my pieces on the 45 for less bulk when hand sewing the edge down.

I also only do the straight ones unless I'm going around curves.

I cut on the straight. It's easier and looks fine to me.
I know and understand that bias is good because if the binding wears thin the threads won't fray in the same way. If & when it wears out that much, I'll rebind.

I always cut straight; bias cutting seems like a waste of time and fabric, unless you're doing curves.

ditto, except i try to use length of fabric because it has less stretch. i tend to pull on my binding as i attach it.
